just bought a 2010 2.0 TDI Highline estate with 106K on the clock.
All seems good apart from a strange groaning noise when you turn the steering wheel whilst parking or at slow speed,sounds like it's coming from behind the bulkhead.
Anyone got any ideas as what might be causing it?

PS what's the life expectancy on the parking brake switch( the one on the right of the dashboard ) feels very flimsy to me.
