Today iv tried fitting a b7 style steering wheel into my b6.
Iv read most of the other post, and when i found i had the single igniter, i was jumping for joy.
know since its a Vw, i should know not to get to excited.
i got the kit from a b6 Rline that was in the breakers, the clock spring and the steering angle sensor, both have the same part number as whats fitted to my car originally, and the control module is a 3c0 953 549 ak.
After fitting the wheel with the module, and doing some coding with vcds, i started the car, played with all the new functions that the mfsw had given, and felt well chuffed.
after a road test i found that the steering angle sensor was reading 0 degrees, along with a steering angle sensor fault and a coding fault, fitting the old module has fixed this but now iv lost my horn and multi function.
any help to shed some light on my problem would be greatly appreciated.
