ABS wheel speed sensor fault

Post by jollymisfit »

Maybe someone can help....

Got 4 lights permanently on the dash, ABS, Traction Control Light, Tyre pressure warning and Parking brake fault light. VCDS fault:

Address 03: ABS Brakes Labels: 3C0-614-095-C2.clb
Part No SW: 3C0 614 109 A HW: 3C0 614 109 A

VCID: 1C3732F2DF0BCAFE68B-8049

1 Fault Found:
00287 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor; Rear Right (G44)
008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00101000
Fault Priority: 1

When i clear the fault and drive a few yards all the lights come back on. I've removed the rear right ABS sensor, cleaned it but made no difference. The strange things is when i drive the car with VCDS Measurable Blocks ABS on, it shows speed readings for ALL 4 wheels, so its getting the same speed reading from all 4 sensors. I would have expected a zero reading from the rear right sensor. Could it be a faulty ABS control module? I hope not :( Really hate this car now..... :(
