Hi, I currently have a B6 ('06 plate) 1.9 estate. Recently went to get in the car & as per usual, my other half pulled like hell on the handle at the first click instead of waiting for the second (though I have tried to explain it umpteen times)... and have been unable to open the door since. We noticed there doesn't seem to be any real resistance when pulling the handle as if it has detached itself from the mechanism inside. This being the door where my little lad would normally get in & out, the child lock is on. Would prefer to fix this myself, if only save a few quid (to spend on the house) and get to know my car a bit better.

B6 rear door won't open from inside or out (childlock on)
