As per title?
Has anybody painted the chrome area surrounding the VW badge? Any photos?
Reason I ask is my car was involved in an accident and is now a CAT C. It's currently being repaired but the grille is damaged and a new one is £183! I have a second hand grille but it doesn't have the 2 holes for the parking sensors. If have to drill the second hand part and I think that would ruin it. Good go diction second hand grilles with holes for parking sensors are as rare as hens teeth!
So, I was thinking of drilling the holes myself and then getting it professionally painted, along side the VW badge and perhaps the chrome strip on the lower grille too so it all matches.
Anybody done it?
