Radio/Satnav version and updates

Hi all

I recently bought a 2010 B6 estate - how do I find out what type of Satnav/Radio i have?

It looks like a RNS 510 (http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/technology/ ... ms/rns-510) - it includes satnav and a rear view camera which is why I don't think it's a RCD 510.

But there are some other bits I don't think it has eg the bluetooth phone connection doesn't seem to be working - is that an extra addon?

How do I update the map data? Is that something only the (expensive) dealership can do? I've noticed a couple of postcodes not being recognised (and they happen to be new houses)
