So, I had to call my insurance to tell them they got some details wrong on my renewal - which they tried to charge over 550 for, but got a much better quote (by £200) with confused, so they had to beat it on their guarantee....
Anyway, just thought I`d ask them about changing the bling around the windows and maybe the grille to a rubberised black cos its a bit to shiny shiny for me. She puts me on hold for an eternity, then came back to to tell me that it would be classed as a custom paint job, and would cost another £706 !!!!
Needless to say, I declined her very kind offer. I`m with Adrian Flux, and was wondering if I went directly to the insurance company, would I get a more sensible answer? I was kinda thinking it would be an admin charge, seeing as its not going to affect performance.
WTF !!!! HOW MUCH????
