Steering Rack noise

When I had my recent service done, I mentioned to the service guys that I had a sort of squeaking/grinding noise when I went from full right lock to left lock. Apparently I am now having a new rack fitted under warranty! :shock:

Anybody else have this noise/ rack replacement?
