3 Button Fob

Hi, I have a 2008 Passat, the lock button on the fob looks to be worn and the light does not come on, other buttons work fine and the key starts the engine.

Any ideas how I can get this fixed or if I could buy a replacement and swap over the immobiliser in anyway?

I have just bought the vehicle.
