Replacement key for B6

Ok first post...I've tried to type KEY into the search function however its telling me there is zero found...a little odd but hey ho.
Basically I've lost the key to my 2009 Passat CC. Before I go and spank a stupid amount of money on a new one can anyone answer this:
1) Can i purchase a used key on Ebay, currently there is one for £25 and get it reprogrammed?
2) Can I buy a brand new unused one on Ebay (like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110951049104? ... 1438.l2649)
3) Does anyone know how much a replacement key and recode is? D I have to go to a VW Dealership?
