Boot rust issue VW aware!!

I have been in touch with VW regarding my boot on my estate that is rusting behind the number plate lights.
They have looked at the boot and done the paint depth analysis. All findings have gone to VW and they have agreed to replace the boot for free with a revised model due to an inherant design fault.
The fault is to do with some of the fastenings being metal screws whcih rust and then corrode the surrounding surfaces.
The solution to this is they have replaced these screws with a new system involving plastic clips.
I am happy that VW are replacing this entire boot for free, this is going to involve me being without my car for a week but it is worth it!
I hope this comes in handy for anyone thinking that they have bought a dodgy rusty car or concerned about future bodyshop costs.
