2007 B6 1.9 TDI, can I chip this car

If I were to have it chipped would I see a real benefit? I can get it done here in Dublin for approx 650Euro but is it worth it?

What would it take the BHP up to?
Would it be better on fuel?
Would I void my warranty with VW?
