2006 2 litre TFSI SEL

Hi ladies and gents,

Ive been having a browse over this great forum now for a little while and have got the opportunity to purchase the TFSI SEL. The car is standard and has a full VW service history with approx 75k on the clock. I do approx 30k a year but my mileage is fully expensed so as long as this car can achieve upto 40mpg i will still make on mileage. (I do drive steady)

Now, what I really want to know is, is there any common faults I should look for in this model and generally, whats the reliability of the turbo?

I love the look and drive of them but if there are major issues I will steer clear. I have a vectra 1.8 that I have had for the past 3 years and it has been bulletproof, just routine servicing and one snapped spring. I had the Audi A6 1.8T on a 51 plate before this and again, no issues.
