I'm going to be doing a retrofit of the Optical Parking system on the RNS-510 in the next couple of months (when the weather is a bit warmer!)
I have the aftermarket (VW dealer supplied) "Cobra" rear parking sensors at the moment, and obviously this retrofit will be quite intense as it involves removing both bumpers from the car and drilling them both to the correct hole sizes and then of course all the wiring into the control module and ultimately the CAN-BUS network!
Is anyone else interested in giving it a go, if so, i'll document it and share my experiences of the install.
