Removal of Radiator - Guide

Hi all. Was hoping someone could help. My wife's B6 Passat has developed a minor water leak. I finally got underneath and found that the radiator plastic ends which join the core (making the system sealed) is leaking.
I don't want to mess around trying to repair it so I have decided to remove and replace with new part. Has anyone got a guide on the easest way to get these out?? Thanks in advance. Sam
