dsg box thumps in to gear

Hi guys im all new to this site Iv got a question for you peeps? after starting up when i put it in to drive it thumps in to gear (the very odd occasion stalls!!) now its on a 57plate 32000 miles & my local dealer is useless can any one help!!!
