I don't know the name or the type this electronic key is or its proper name.
I received this key brand new in its plastic bag from the car salesman he in turn purchased it from VAG main dealer.
I presume this key needs coding as it is its has no effect on the car what so ever.
How are these keys programmed do I have to take it to the local VAG garage or is this programmed allready. I know nothing on this type of key I don't know how to replace the batteries if thats what power these items. Any advice greatly appreciated.
I have read somewhere not sure if it was this forum that these keys can be programmed by leaving the key inside the car disconect the car battery reconnect the battery and leave for 10 minutes....I am not sure at all that this is the way these items are progrogrammed...
