I just need a confirmation if a hammer should never be used to remove track rod ends and doing so may lead to steering angle sensor being fried?
I had more failures over last few years than I'd like to remember and I begin to suspect this is what is being done to my car just prior to it happening. It is hard to believe mechanics response the potholes or my driving is to blame when the yellow light hits once the cars is out after work. This actually happened in 2 different garages now and nobody would EVER admit to doing anything wrong. IF in doubt always blame the customer
Track rod ends + hammer = ERROR and Lights?
