just had my 50k service done on the b6 and now been advised by vw that it requires a further £700 worth of repairs, apparently the rear bushes have deteriorated (bit poo for a 5 year old car with 50k miles) and my steering lock could fail at anytime resulting in car not being able to be started, also have a loss of power issue that intermittent thats likely to be actuator.
the actuator I am happy to do myself and probably the bushed (plan to lower it soon anyway) but is the steering lock fault do able or do i require vag com.
