Ok been thinking about brake upgrades.
Cheapest method up front seems to be to find some off an audi RS3 - discs, calipers, carriers, shields.
For the rears I was wondering, the R36 runs a bigger thicker rear disc, 310mm x 17mm.
For simplicity would it be viable to replace the rear carriers with ones for an R6 and retain the rear caliper? (with the right pads). Also would the carrier mounting bolt hole dimensions be the same between FWD and 4WD cars?

Visually the rear R36 calipers dont look so different, and it would be nice to retain existing rear calipers to avoid potential issues like brake controller problems with later version motors etc.
Thoughts?
