the crank sensor on my 57 reg 2007 B6 2.0TDI 140bhp WAGON is hard to get at because the oil cooler, intercooler pipe is in front and it is a bit of a hassle to get it changed, as my car is in limp mode and VAG software has flagged up the crank speed sensor, as well as the inlet manifold because i cleaned it yesterday including the egr valve which was full of oily sludge.
my car sometimes has a difficulty to start with some juddering, and it does not help to drive upto 2000rpm. i did clear the codes today, and my car shot like a rocket with a cloud of black smoke behind!
could someone shed some light please on crank sensor change!
