Aircon on my 2009 B6 2.0tdi

My aircon has stopped working. My local Skoda garage reckons it's the compressor, how they know without plugging it in to the computer is beyond me. So I thought I'd be fly and take it to Kwik Fit for a refill (£49 no improvement no pay)where upon they after emptying the gas and refilling it,noticed the aircon wasn't working,so they plug in the Bosch diagnostic tool, no error codes and according to them the compressor is working fine. I asked are they sure the compressors ok and he said the diagnostics show it's working.So is it the pressure sensor, the fan or something else.
