How low to go? Now with pics 18th March

Hi guys, just bought a set of Daytonas

I want to lower the car slightly for looks but i don't know by how much.

I only want to change the springs. I put koni coilovers on my mk4 golf as in my avatar and i hated the ride.

This is a family car like most and i want to be comfortable. I was thinking 30- 40mm
