Faulty ignition switch
I have a 2006 2 litre TD model. When starting I get an iontermittant engine fault message and a flashing heater coill symbol. It is often fixed by locking and unlocking doors with the remote. The garage says I need a new ignition switch and a software upgrade. They also want a huge amount of money. Is this a recognised problem - any idea what a reasonable price is please? Chris
