I love old school hip hop. A tribe called quest, de la soul, early Busta, Jungle Brothers... Also love old jungle/d&b. Ltj bookham, omni trio... I've been after Artcore 1 for a while now but never seem to be able to get hold of it.

Haha cant beleive what im reading here, i thought there was only me who still loved some olskool junglism. Still sounds as amazing to me today as it did back in the early 90's. I still listen to oldskool hardcore/rave tunes from which jungle developed from too : )

anyone used to go to bowlers, manchester? it was their reunion last weekend, 3500+ old skoolers rocked up for the night at the old venue........bet somebody made a mint on glow sticks and vicks vapour rub, lol

we used to go every weeekend, 3500 people in a club that never had a drinks licence.......ha ha work that one out!!

p.s. in them old top-t-top-t-top-t-"top-buzz" tapes, what the hell was that sample that sound like "dixons" "ddddd-dixons"....still to this day i say dixons, like the old electrical store, ha ha!!

Yea UK hip hop is looking really good right about now, here's some links:

As far as the rest of the world goes, I love all the golden era stuff on the small independent labels. All hip hops good hip hop, I just hate the way it's perceived by most people who are not familiar with it - all the 50 Cent and Lil' Wayne Bull**** you see/hear on the radio etc.

Aslong as lil wayne or any of these wannabe G's aint in the tune I'm happy. music jus aint what it used to be, on a different note I'm glad house is making a comeback.
