One Touch Window

I have a 2014 Passat.
On the passenger side front window if I press it once to go up, it goes up as normal with one touch, however when I click it to go down you have to keep your finger on it. If I sit in the drivers seat and control the passenger window, both up and down one touch works just fine. It is simply the down touch on the passengers butt that's at fault.

I have done what it says in the book, click it up 3 seconds, do it again. Also I've done the click it down for 5 or 10 seconds and the same up and nothing seems to work.

Can anyone suggest something I've missed to get this button working again?
