Help with LED Puddle lights in mirrors.

Hi Iv just upgraded all of the interior bulbs to LED canbus friendly bulbs, whybthey wrent like that from the factory, so much better. My car already has the genuine VW LED rear no plate bulbs fitted.
Has anybody replaced and fitted LED bulbs in the puddle lights in the mirrors at all? Is it an easy job and what bulbs did you use? Thanks in advance
