Starting Problems - B7 (Help please)

Hi all & hoping for guidance (newbie to Passats & forum).

I brought a 2011 Passat 2.0tdi Auto Estate Bluemotion in Nov 2019 and its developed starting issues that seem to be getting worse, these are;

About 1 time in 8 starts from cold I get any of the following messages and sometimes more than one. Usually removing key, locking and unlocking solves but sometimes need to do 2 or 3 times before it starts, messages are:

• Move steering wheel, or
• Steering lock defective, or
• Engine immobiliser fault, or
• Sometimes a long delay before anything happens, then starts or doesn't, or
• Depress footbrake ( when already depressed)

Never not started, but think frequency increasing - main time it does this is first start in the morning.

Any ideas, guidance, etc please - I'm located a bit south of Croydon, so if anyone can also recommend a non stealer specialist that would be great.
