Eating Front Discs!

Post by Felixcol »

So, a few months ago I had the discs and pads replaced on my Alltrack.
After a few weeks, there was a wobble when braking - back to the garage and they replaced them - this time with an upgrade to Brembo discs and I paid for a new calliper.
Less than 4000 miles and the second set was destroyed- so bad that it became almost undriveable when braking.
VW had a look - out of spec and found nothing else wrong, no signs of overheating nothing obvious on the suspension.
Replaced again.
Really can’t go back again and VW wanted £400 for VAG parts.
Sometimes feel that the brakes are being applied by themselves (or am I now paranoid?)
Can the auto hold or speed sensor be a problem?
Anyone else seen other similar problems?
Thanks
