passenger airbag switch

Hi all
I thought I would post my findings as it may be of interest, my passat 2013 1.8 tsi airbag light came on several times when under warranty told it was passenger switch each time switched off by main dealer last time out of warranty I investigated myself and removed the small panel on end of dash to gain access to the switch pressed it and ' click 'it wasn't fitted correctly, it must of been a bad connection I turned off the light and it has stayed off so far for the longest time since I have had the car, so much for main dealers if they thought it was the switch why not check it too easy I suppose
