Engine Rattle Noise, Anyone Have A Guess?

Car is a sport estate 140 2012.
Started it up Tuesday and it has developed a rattle/clatter from the belt side of the engine.
The noise disappears above 1k rpm.
Then Wednesday it has developed a screech like when a fanbelt is US. It's not loud and only occurs when in traffic and putting under load to move it is brief not sustained.
Anyone have a clue what the peoblem might be?
