Coolant leak

Hi, I have a 2011 Passat Estate 2.0 TDI, recently i have noticed the coolant is draining within 10 mins of the engine running. I think after looking at other posts the water pump might be leaking. Is there any way I can test for this to make sure? If it is the water pump, how easy would it be to change it myself as I have no money to pay garage costs.

Any advice about this would be greatly appreciated :D
