Rear Nearside Window Glass/Regulater Clip Dropped Out

My rear window doesnt come down but only goes up. I have opened the door up so can see the clip had popped out. Trying for 2 hours but just cannot get it back in there. Its 2 pieces but once you put the bigger puece in you cannot put the smaller piece in it. Amyone done this it seems a common problem but csnt find no pictures or video pointers....
