I have a vw cc 2012 and need tyres but would like to get the wheels refurbished before hand, The wheels are the Chicago alloys with the dreaded diamond cut face but I do like them and I am planning to keep them original, The question I have is I have the tyre pressure monitoring system and have been reading that the sensors have a battery life of somewhere between 5-10 years does anyone have any experience of having there's refurbished and what did you do? Also can anyone help with a part number for the sensor just in case.
