Clicking noise when braking

Clicking noise when braking
When I brake I can hear a single clicking noise. I think it is coming from the front of the Passat. The brakes work fine, but the single click is annoying. The clicking noise does not happen when the car is stationary. I thought the noise may be a loose front brake or some play between the pads and the brake calliper, but on inspection both sides look fine. Anyone have any idea what is causing this noise?
