Rain sensitive wipers

Hi All,

The rain sensitive wipers on my B7 don't work, I've had a windscreen replacement,I've put a new genuine vow gel pad on the windscreen and checked with VCDS at the correct box is ticked in coding, however even when ticked the wording says rain Sensor inactive in blue writing, untiched it says the same in black writing so the tick box works,.
Has anyone got anymore ideas where to go from here?
