My car is struggling to fire in the mornings (fine when warm), so suspect battery needs replacing.
As it's a bluemotion diesel model, I'm concerned about replacing the battery - forums have mentioned fitting matching BEM batteries and having them re-coded afterwards.
Is this true?
Car currently has a Varta 7PO 915 105 battery, BEM: VAO230110A0KQ.
I've found replacement from Tayna, https://www.tayna.co.uk/E39-Varta-Start ... P4367.html, which I believe should do the job, but not sure if I can just swap it out?
