Hi
Like above, wanted to fit door puddle/warning light, in each door, and wanted to fit footwell lights too.
My Passat hasn't got any of them at all, just plastic trim covers.
Hope anyone did it, if so I would like to ask for guidance with removing door panels (Iknow it isnt difficult, its just precautions I would rather take), and most importantly where to wire up the lights in each door and after vag I suppose?
I understand it's quite a lot but it's worth spending time on it tho.
I did consider wiring up to interior lights, but than I thought if there wouldn't be any overload issues?
Mind that ai changed fuse from 20amp to 25amp and all interior lights are noe leds.
After that same thing for my footwell lights.
Here for a change I considered again wiring to interior light in the roof for white led so lights up when door open, shuts when closed, but I thought of an additional red lights to be constantly, thought of wiring to my radio power.
It's just ideas rather than steps I considered taking, so any advice will be appreciated.
