Plastic protectors on wheel arches
Just bought a Executive Style 177 bhp estate. Anyone know what the small plastic extensions (protectors?) on the edge of the wheel arches are for? My theory is that under certain circumstances the tyres could contact the outer edge of the wheel arches. The Exec.Style is lowered by 15mm and there's not much wheel arch clearance so if a very heavy load is carried there could be contact - not very reassuring if that's the case!
