As some members, particularly in South west Durham may already know there was a severe storm on Wednesday evening which started a rain with thunder and lightening and ended with hailstones the size of golf balls raining down from the heavens, it was that serious that conservatories, green houses, guttering and countless cars were damaged, some beyond repair
My Alltrack is now baring the scars of the 5 minute blast of hail, I'm not sure there isn't a panel left that isn't dented, the bonnet alone must have 50 plus dents, the roof wings tailgate all dented, windscreen cracked.
Who would believe that it was even possible to sustain that much damage in 5 minutes
I'm now waiting on my insurers, the screen gets replaced tomorrow but I fear I'm in a long Que for my bodywork repairs
