Steering - weird scraping noise at full lock

Hello.

Yesterday while steering at full lock and driving slowly I heard a strange noise from under the front of the car. It was like a heavy piece of metal being dragged before winding to a stop. Afterwards it's been ok but I haven't driven much at all. Today the steering maybe felt a little light, but I'd need to drive somewhere more quickly and for longer to say for sure. There are no warning lights lit. Any ideas? Thanks!
