Rear climate control panel

Hi guys, I was searching the forum for any information on rear climate control panel, but can't find anything, if there is a thread about this, can someone redirect please?

Anyway, I'll be replacing this:

with this:

And as you can see, there's that REAR button for blocking the rear climate control panel.

So I was thinking that since I'm already changing the front panel, I could fit that rear one (two birds with one stone) Did anyone here do it before? Will I need different central console, or does it fit in the standard one? Any help would be appreciated.
If there's too much work with this, or it doesn't fit to european passats then I'm just gonna go ahead with the normal, SYNC front panel and forget this rear panel.
