Windscreen bottle

I have a 2013 Passat estate blue motion. end of last year the the windscreen wash light came on and a message on screen telling me it was low and to refill. even though the bottle is full.

The fault then cured itself.

This weekend the above happed again, even though the bottle is full.

Has anyone experienced this or sticky sensor within the bottle?
