Mud Flaps

Anyone dotted Mud flaps to a B7 Wagon. Noticed recently in this rotten weather how dirty the back of the car gets and how often Im using the rear wiper/wash just to see out the back, the rest of the car stays reasonably clean, would Mud flaps help ?
