A couple of little niggles

I don't know if I somehow 'activated' it, but for the last week, 5 or 10 seconds after setting off, there's a 'click' from all doors & the car locks itself, it can easily be opened from the inside, but I proved it by winding-down the windows & trying the outside handles, sure enough, its locked.
So, easy, I simply pushed the lock/unlock button on the drivers door, but I never had to do this before, then to make matters worse, today I press the button & it decided to disappear into the door cavity !! So now I have to pull the door card, find the switch assy & remount it, anyone had the door card off before?? What's involved, the car is a 2011 B7 2l bluemotion estate.

So, 1: how to remove the card & 2: how to revert to non-autolocking. Thanks
