TCS button not working

TCS button not working

Hi, I have just bought a 2012 2.0 passat bluemotion SE and noticed that the TCS button on the centre console does not light up when pressed. According to the owners manual pressing this should disable the traction control. Am I correct in assuming that this model is fitted with traction control?
