Bluemotion Sport Climate Control Unit

I've recently been looking around for a 140 TDi Sport and I've noticed that there appears to be two kinds of climate control units available. One is the same as fitted to the 2010+ Sciroccos and as shown in the current brochure. The other is different and seems more "integrated" into the car. Does anyone know which is the latest one or why they differ?
I presume that the latest version is the "integrated" style as this looks the same as the one fitted into the new scirocco Type R.
