Hi All,
I have found that the front parking sensors do not work until reverse has been selected. This means that when you drive to your destination and end up parking up to a wall, hedge or another car, you get NO indication from the front sensors until you select reverse. So, if you reverse and then move forward to adjust, the front and rear sensors all kick in, but if you just drive straight into a parking bay without needing to select reverse....nothing!
Does anyone else find this with their B7? Mine is a 2.0 TDI 140PS Bluemotion and has full park assist fitted.
On another note, mine did not have a reverse camera fitted even though I was told it would.
All in all, very disappointed with the whole parking system, especially as this was a £620 extra.
