Re-mapping.

Post by Victor Gibson » Fri Nov 30, 2018 8:41 pm

Has anyone had any experience with re-mapping. I can get my All-track upped by 40bhp and 80Nm. With a claimed 15% improvement in mpg. Does this sound ok?

Where abouts are you based?

Mine is a 140bhp 2.0 tdi, and managed a 107.6Nm and 49.8Bhp increase. Transformed the drive-ability of the car, it feels like a totally different animal, and uses less fuel than stock when it had VW's emissions fix applied. I've done around 20k miles since it was applied, and have not had any issues or warning lights.

On the forums a lot of people are getting the vw fix reversed as it’s making their cars do too many regens, since I’ve had my car remapped it does a regen about every 350mls ,
The drivability of the car is better , and fuel economy is probably better if I slowed down

Not surprised they have reduced the NOx when they didn't have to , to do this egr operation is increased and so soot levels go up for the dpf to deal with .
