Do all the 2.0 CR's do this?

My engine runs like a dream, 70k on it now but has a slight annoying little habit. It does it mainly in the warm up stage and mostly at low speeds.

When moving along and your release the accelerator and then press it again it's like the engines gives a little miss. The car also slightly jerks when it does it. Can happen when changing gear also. When it happens you can hear the engine give a "pinking" noise just like in an old petrol engine. Otherwise runs perfect power is all there. It all happens in a split second but is noticable. Anyone else come across this? Can't be DPF related as mine is taken out.
